Mohawk Carpets started in 1878 in Calhoun, GA and is one of the world’s largest producers of floor-covering material. They are also the world’s largest distributor of yarn. We met with Mohawk to discuss building a video library that would provide a way for their resellers to learn about Mohawk products. We had built a video player before, but this was the first to have a lot of settings that required a database. The video library needed to have title and description, of course, but it also needed to be sorted by category, provide more detailed information about the products being shown, and provide links to any potential offers on the products being show.
We had a lot of fun building this player and learned a lot doing it. Unfortunately, the player is behind a dealer login at Mohawk Industries; but we can show you some screenshots of the player’s interface to give you an idea of how it worked.
