Project Details
Two years ago Bradley Sherwood at Mighty 8th Media had his first son. One of the unexpected things he needed to do was track his baby’s “input” and “output.” He was handed a stack of photocopied grid paper from his pediatrician and sent home. After thinking about it for a while he pitched a concept for an iPhone app called “PeeDoodle.” The application was a simple one: in just a few clicks, record his baby’s food intake and “output” and generate a simple report for his pediatrician.
We created just that, not only keeping the application simple, but also adding a few extra features like the ability to track multiple babies. It was our first native iPhone application written completely in Objective-C, and it gave us some base understanding of the key iPhone API libraries like the database and camera.
